1WM GLORY XVIII
LIVE FROM HARD ROCK LIVE IN ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY
Backstage, Alex Reeves is talking to Butterscotch Monroe. She’s wearing a McKena Hardy shirt, alongside her street clothes. It seems quite clear that this interview took place earlier in the day.
Butterscotch Monroe: Well, Alex, tonight you’re up first against Mark Storm. What are your thoughts?
She reacts to his question with a slow nod, then a shrug.
Alex Reeves: Am I meant to be impressed? No, seriously, I’m genuinely asking. Is it meant to be impressive that Mark Storm is here? I mean, where is Mark Storm not wrestling? Honestly, the guy is as overexposed as the MCU at this stage. Toss a coin and you’ll hit a promotion that Storm works at. It’s kinda sad to have to spread yourself so thin to get what you need from this job. Maybe he needs to ask for more money, or maybe he needs stiffer levels of competition. It’s a lack of focus, if you ask me. Me? I work for two places, neither are weekly. That’s plenty of time to train, plenty of time to recover and plenty of time to prepare. How can you possibly say the same of someone who’s constantly on the move, constantly traveling, never giving themselves a moment to pause?
She then raises a single finger.
Alex Reeves: It’s not to say he’s bad, either, don’t twist it. Not as good as he thinks, but he’s not subpar either. He has an edge over me on experience, most definitely, and so for me this is a challenge, sure. For him it’s probably match number fifty of the month. Thing is, for all of his exposure, do we really see Mark Storm rising to the top anymore? I don’t really think so, and I definitely don’t plan to be a stepping stone for him to rise here either.
Butterscotch Monroe: Harsh words here, Alex. We-
She cuts in, shaking her head.
Alex Reeves: Harsh? Look, if the truth hurts then that’s not my problem. Fact is that he’s so overbooked he has another match just tomorrow. You know what that means? He’s not taking me seriously. He’s not taking 1WM seriously. That’s fine, he doesn’t have to. Tonight, though, tonight I intend to make him regret that.
Without a word more, Alex leaves Butterscotch standing along, heading away to prepare for the bout.
SINGLES MATCH
Mark Storm vs. Alex Reeves
Mark Storm vs. Alex Reeves
Mark and Alex meet in the center of the ring, locking up in typical fashion. Eventually it is Mark who comes out on top after darting around to put his belly to Alex’s back, hitting her with a bridging german suplex. Pulling her up, he whips Alex off into the ropes, hitting her with a flapjack as she comes rebounding back before transitioning it into an ankle lock. He keeps it locked in as Alex crawls her way towards the ropes. Mark tries to pull her away before the referee sees but it’s too late and instead he’s instructed to release it… which he does right before the referee finishes his count to disqualify Mark. Alex looks none too pleased as she gets up to her feet, using the ropes for support. Mark and her meet again, trading a flurry of blows back and forth. Eventually, Mark hits her with a discus forearm strike, following it up with a snapemare. As he goes for a basement dropkick, Alex gets out of the way at the last second and catches Mark off guard by rolling him up.

KICKOUT!
Astrid: Well I will be the first one to say that someone tried to be ballsy and it blew up in their face.
Catriona: To be fair that could apply to both. But I think Mark needs to figure something out instead of fast & powerful. This isn’t a sprint.
Both competitors scramble to get back to a vertical base. Alex is just a tad quicker than Mark, allowing her to fire off a judo throw before quickly following it up with a series of mounted strikes, attempting to wear Mark down. She pulls Mark up to his feet and he manages to fire off an elbow strike in an attempt to create some space between them. But this would wind up being futile as Alex then fires off an elbow strike of her own before whipping him off into the corner. She quickly follows this up with a corner dropkick that causes Mark to fall into a slump in the corner. Alex then lies in wait, waiting for Mark to get to his feet. But she can’t wait anymore and once he’s to a knee, she charges forward and hits him with Point Zero (claymore kick).

Torres: Here is your winner… ALEX REEVES!
Astrid: Well.. I could say that is a surprising end but then again I would be lying.
Catriona: Both put on a very valiant front but in the end Alex had Mark’s number.
Astrid: He needs a new game plan and stat if he wants to get a win in 1WM.
The scene switches backstage where we find Justice Cross and Brianna Matthews talking about what happened in their tag team match last time out.
Justice Cross: I just don’t understand why you tagged yourself into the match.
Brianna Matthews: Look, I did what I felt was right. I did what I felt would win us the match. I mean obviously I was wrong and I’m sorry.
Justice Cross: We didn’t win the match Brie. Our titles were taken from us.
Brianna Matthews: Is that all you care about is the titles? You know what happened the last time you let gold consume you.
Justice Cross: Sebastian Kane deserved to go through that window.
Brianna Matthews: That is not what I am talking about and you know it.
Justice Cross: It’s ok. The gold hasn’t consumed me this time. However we did let people down. The fans were let down because we lost the titles. What the hell is going on over there?
Justice’s eyes drift from her partner’s to something else and they widen, then she tilts her head like a confused puppy. The source of this is found quickly as the camera trains its lens on the emerging figure of Valora Thomas, who is smiling and walking toward her after finishing up discussions with some suits-and-ties from 1WM The spectators watching on the OneTron give a great reaction to the dynamic MMA champion turned pro wrestling Champion. Justice would walk over to stand toe to toe with Val once she saw who it was.
Justice Cross: What the hell are you doing here?
Astrid: Yeah, exactly what is up with this Valora Thomas being here? Who the hell is this bitch?
Catriona: I haven’t a clue… not really. Word on the street is she’s one hell of a dominant MMA champion and the EWC TV champion.
Astrid: Keep your other company drama out of 1WM Justice!
Valora brushes off the encroachment of her personal space by Justice and offers her a smile.
Valora Thomas: Justice! Hey! Small world. Oh and I’m just making the rounds at promotions to talk with folks and see what opportunities possibly lie if I were to compete.
Justice Cross: Making the rounds? Opportunities? Sweetheart you don’t get to have opportunities. You want to know why? Because I beat you in the ring of another company. So you need to get out of my building. There is no room here for you.
Val’s smile vanishes and is replaced with a gape and a gasp. She seems genuinely taken aback.
Catriona: Apparently not many can boast a win over Valora… but Justice can.
Astrid: Well plenty of people have wins over Justice. So she’s allowed to get lucky I guess.
Catriona: According to this sheet I was just handed, she shockingly dominated her.
Astrid: Does she want a cookie or something?
After Valora’s initial surprise, she regains some poise and furrows her brows.
Valora Thomas: Whoa. Wait. What? Your building?
Val gives her a once over.
Valora Thomas: I don’t see you sporting a GM suit nor a world title to make such a claim. Oh and if memory serves me correctly, I wrestled you when I wasn't fully recovered from concussion thanks to management there.
Valora matches Justice’s posture by getting uncomfortably close, almost to their noses touching.
Valora Thomas: But I guess if you want me out of your building, you can always throw me out. Right?
The crowd watching on the OneTron get rowdy for the potential scuffle to come. Brianna would step between the girls then and tell Justice to walk away. Things get thrown back to the ring when both Brianna and Justice walk off together.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Prodigy” Daniel Wolfe vs. McKena Hardy
“The Prodigy” Daniel Wolfe vs. McKena Hardy
Daniel and McKena meet in the center of the ring for a “friendly” handshake. But Daniel swats McKena’s outstretched hand away before driving a boot into her stomach for a thrust kick. It sends her stumbling backward a few steps until she’s able to catch herself and recover. He then quickly fires off a bicycle toe kick followed by a savate kick, a set that he calls the Wolf Pack Combo. He grabs her by the head, dragging her to the center of the ring. She swats his arms away, but he fires off a palm strike before following it up with a backstabber.

KICKOUT!
Astrid: This young thundercat sure is trying to send a message here. But I don’t think it’s the right one.
Catriona: He is still young. He’s got a lot to learn. Sometimes you gotta get Sparta kicked into the mess to learn.
Daniel looks shocked at McKena’s kickout and yanks her back up to her feet. McKena blocks an elbow smash attempt from Daniel and quickly executes a monkey flip, turning the tides of the match to her favor. McKena is able to get up before Daniel and hits him with a spinning wheel kick before following it up with a standing shooting star press. McKena waits off in the corner and once he stands, she hits a crescent kick straight to his temple, sending him stumbling into the corner. She waits a few moments before pulling him out towards the center of the ring and hitting him with Pump the Breaks (sto backbreaker followed by a faceplant).

Torres: Here is your winner… MCKENA HARDY!!
A few moments pass before the picture comes to life. The camera immediately zooms in on Nina Stokes. She’s standing in the hallway, just a few feet away from the women’s locker room.
Nina Stokes: This match is quite unfortunate.
A couple of seconds tick away before Nina peers directly into the camera’s lens.
Nina Stokes: Once again, I am tasked with playing the foil to someone’s hopes and dreams. It is a role that I’ve become accustomed to over the past couple of years. But it’s also a role that becomes taxing.
Nina pauses for a second.
Nina Stokes: One Wrestle Movement? I have no issue murking your riff raff. That’s only going to hold my attention for a short while longer. Advancement and prosperity are my main concerns. And if that can’t be accomplished, then destruction will follow. And you best believe that my barbarism has no remorse.
There’s another pause.
Nina Stokes: Blake? I would never tell you to turn tail and hide. You seem like the type of woman that considers herself a warrior. So instead, I’ll give you a simple warning— Out-wrestling you would be far too easy. Tonight? I intend to hurt you. The cells in your body will curse your very existence after one of my strikes. You will question why you even became a professional wrestler after experiencing my knee.
She shakes her head.
Nina Stokes: No amount of preparation is going to get you ready for what’s about to happen. Therefore—
A small smirk creeps across her face.
Nina Stokes: Do your best.
The picture fades out shortly afterwards.
SINGLES MATCH
Nina Stokes vs. Blake Belladonna
Nina Stokes vs. Blake Belladonna
Blake and Nina start off by glaring at each other from across the ring. When they meet up in the center, they dance around in a circle, pawing at each other and trying to get the other one to make a move. Eventually that would be Blake who starts off with a series of knife edge chops before following it up with a heart punch. Blake then quickly sets Nina up for a suplex, but Nina blocks the first few attempts, forcing Blake to hit her with an elbow strike before finally hitting her with a vertical suplex. Pulling Nina back up to her feet, she drops her across her knee for a backbreaker before following it up with a leg drop. Blake goes for a cover but Nina, having tremendous ring awareness, puts a hand on the bottom rope so the referee doesn’t even start counting. Angered by this, Blake pulls Nina towards the center of the ring before yanking her hard to her feet and wrapping an arm around Nina’s head, hitting her with a running bulldog before going for another cover.

Astrid: I do love a good catfight. I should’ve gotten some popcorn.
Catriona: These two are both storied veterans so they know what it takes. I have a feeling it will only get better from here.
Blake argues with the referee how that was a three count, allowing Nina to get up to her feet. As soon as Blake turns her attention back to Nina, she’s met with a running leg lariat from Nina. Nina stands over Blake and smirks as her opponent writes around on the mat. Nina wastes no time, hitting Blake with a plam strike flurry as Blake yells at her to get away. Nina obliges and takes a few steps back, allowing Blake to get to her feet and run forward for a clothesline. But Nina ducks underneath the attempt and instead captures Blakes arms before she hits Blake with a headbutt. Blake appears to be out of it as Nina waits for her “prey” off in the corner. When Blake is back up to her feet, she’s driven back down to a knee with A Slice of Grace (throat punch) before Nina follows it up with Amidst the Shadow of Sorrows III (Boma Ye Knee Strike).

Torres: Here is your winner… NINA STOKES!
Astrid: That’s it? Damn. That was a wicked knee from Nina though. It just ended too early for my liking.
Catriona: Both gave it their all. And their 1WM runs thus far have leaving me wanting more each week.
Suddenly the lights in the arena go completely out. Then, after a couple of seconds, they start flashing randomly, the pyro starts going off at random too, like something just went awry. After a bit of random chaos, everything stops, the tron lights up a completely light blue screen as the words “Building Perfection” appear. The scene cuts to a desk, with a chair turned to the other side, who slowly turns back to the screen, revealing, sitting in it, a blond woman that caused some cheering between old time fans.
Aurora Master: I’m back.
She grinned for a second to the camera before continuing.
Aurora Master: But, for the viewers and the wrestlers that don’t know or don’t remember me, I think it’s fine to re-introduce myself. My name is Aurora Master, and just about a year ago I was 1WM’s very own Tag Team Champion. Now, I wasn’t alone…
Aurora looks to both sides of the camera, which causes clear excitement among some people in the audience, but when the camera pans out it reveals her to be alone.
Aurora Master: Looking for someone? The Master Sisters did what they had to do. We came here, and in a short amount of time, we dominated the company, and we claimed the title ours and then we left. We could come back and do the same again… I wouldn’t be opposed to it. But my sisters… well… they don’t have the same interest right now.
You want to know the funny thing? After we left and went on with our lives, we never stopped getting contract requests. Not just from 1WM, but from tons and tons of Wrestling federations all over the world. From Japan, to the United Kingdom, to Canada, to Mexico, and of course, every state of the United States. Most of them asked for the Master Sisters, others were content with only Moonlight and Dawn, and others were okay with only one, some asked for Moonlight, some for Dawn. And I get that. I understand why you’d want the big, bad, strong Moonlight Master in your company, she causes awe just by being there. I also understand why you’d want someone who’d willingly shatter all their bones to entertain the audience regardless if you asked for it or not. My sisters are great assets to any company.
She paused.
Aurora Master: The painful thing is not getting requests for me. And similarly, I get why. I do. You see, to the world at large I’m not a wrestler. I’m a manager. I might be seen as the face of the Master Sisters, as the brain of the team, as the mouth of the team. But never as anything actually relevant when it comes to the in-ring, to the actual wrestling of this wrestling show.
But I love wrestling, I love it more than any of my sisters. I’m the reason they were here in the first place… and yet, while they had decent careers solo and together, I remain nothing but a loud background. When I asked for a solo contract for me, you know what they said? They asked if I really didn’t want my sisters to join me, because just me… Well, that return lacks impact. And I know it does, I know you don’t think I can do it alone. I’m willing to believe that the tag team division is thanking the Gods that I didn’t bring a challenge for them. And I’m sure the rest of the locker room is happy that I’m the sister that returned.
Aurora grins to the camera.
Aurora Master: But you know what? I didn’t want it any other way, because I am the happiest when I grab your expectations and destroy them in your face. Soon your opinion will have changed, I’ll make sure of it. And I’m not sure who’s going to face me in two weeks, but I do have a message for you. You’re the first in my way, and I’m not going to let you be the one to stop me. So get ready and beware of your surroundings!
The scene fades to black.

Torres: This is an anything goes… falls count anywhere match scheduled for one fall and it is for the Multiuniversal Championship!
The referee for the contest takes hold of the Multiuniversal Title and invites both competitors to the center of the ring. Inaudibly, the referee is relaying to both Kitty Dark and El Diablo Blanco he is only here to count a pinfall or signal for a submission. The referee shows the belt to El D first, who looks down but refuses to touch it. The ref shows the belt to Kitty Dark, who blows a kiss to it. Kitty Dark and El D inch closer to each other, talking smack to each other but both smiling at the same time. Being in 1WM territory, a loud ‘El D, El D, El D’ chant picks up in which El Diablo Blanco acknowledges to Kitty Dark. Dark simply brushes it off and instead extends a hand for a handshake. El D takes her up on the offer as the two exchange a handshake before making their way back to their respective corners.
Skylar Rayner: It’s the final stop before Red Blood Cell for Splat. Which one of these two competitors will head to Splat’s annual extravaganza to take on Mary Ellen Harrison for her final shot at the Multiuniversal Championship? I’m Skylar Rayner and joining me here like always for this match is Jazmin Davis.
Jazmin Davis: Been looking forward to this match. These two competitors have been trading respectful tones across social media but you have to wonder how respectful a match like this actually is? The referee is calling for the bell so we don’t have long to wait to answer that question.
Both hesitant to go straight to locking up, Kitty Dark and El D circle each other waiting for the other to pounce first. As they do, each takes turns looking to the outside and the different contraptions that fans have brought to the event. They see makeshift weapons, some including thumbtacks, others barbed wire. There’s even a light tube cabin held together by duct tape.
Kitty and El D finally lock up in the center of the ring to a roar from the crowd. Kitty, using her years of experience, rushes El D straight into the corner and fires in shoulder thrusts into his midsection. Content with the damage inflicted, Kitty Dark grabs El D’s mask by its horns and uses it to Biel him out of the corner. El D immediately gets up and adjusts his mask. Across the ring, Kitty Dark just shrugs her shoulders. Dream match or not, Kitty Dark will do whatever it takes to win this match.
Skylar Rayner: This match is going to get messy. I can already sense it.
The 1WM crowd is screaming out for their weapons to come into play. Kitty and El D take one look at each other and roll out of the ring on either side. They rifle through opposing trash cans that have been filled with the fans’ weapons. El D produces a thumbtack wiffle ball bat while Kitty Dark emerges with a similar bat wrapped in a series of light tubes attached. The duo roll back in the ring and square off as the fans are ravenous for what they are about to see. Kitty Dark is the first to take a swing with her light tube bat, but El D ducks and runs past Kitty. Kitty was quick to stop the light tubes from hitting the mat and shattering. In doing so, however, she turns around and catches a thumbtack wiffle ball bat shot to the midsection. Dark doubles over in pain, still clutching the light tube bat as she drops to both knees. El Diablo Blanco calls out to the crowd for a positive response before grabbing Kitty Dark by her ponytail and winds up the thumbtack bat for a shot to the forehead. Before he can, Kitty Dark pulls the light tube bat up off the mat to low blow El Diablo Blanco. The light tubes shatter on El D’s nether regions to a groan from the crowd.
Kitty Dark gets back up, picking a few thumbtacks out of her abdomen before grabbing the same thumbtack bat off the ground. Dark walks over to the downed El Diablo Blanco and whacks at El D’s exposed arm because of his sleeveless shirt attire. Dark doesn’t stop at one. She continuously strikes El D’s arm, leaving behind more and more thumbtacks with each whack. Finally content, Kitty Dark holds out her arms to draw in admiration but gets a chorus of boos.
Jazmin Davis: The Multiuniversal Champ is in her element right now.
Kitty doesn’t leave El D long to recover as she approaches him and begins pressing the thumbtacks deeper into El D’s arm with her boot. El D screams out in pain as trickles of blood drip from his wounds. Kitty grips his wrist and goes for a cross arm breaker, but El D doesn’t want any of it. He quickly breaks Kitty’s grasp and rolls out under the bottom rope. Not just to get a breath in, El D is picking the thumbtacks out of his arm and shaking his Zubaz to get any small pieces of glass to shake free.
Kitty Dark slides out under the bottom rope to join El D on the outside, but El D is waiting with a forearm shot to the face. El D whips Kitty Dark into the barricade, flipping her upside down. Shaking his arm to get the feeling back in it, El Diablo Blanco follows up with a barrage of stomps to Kitty Dark’s downed body. El D goes back to the garbage can to see what else is inside. He pulls out some sort of mitt and puts it on his hand. It’s an oven mitt, and it appears to have more thumbtacks glued to one side. A mixture of laughs and claps come from the crowd applauding the weapon choice. El D approaches Kitty Dark as she is getting back to her feet. He uses his gloved hand to lock on an iron claw, pushing the thumbtacks into the forehead of Dark to a pop from the crowd. Adding extra pressure by using his free hand to grasp his gloved hands wrist, El Diablo Blanco calls the referee over to see if Dark will submit.
Skylar Rayner: El Diablo Blanco was made for this type of match, but I’m not sure he’ll get Kitty to submit this early in the match.
El D gets Kitty Dark down to a knee as he wrenches in the hold. The referee is right next to Dark, asking her if she quits. Without saying a word, she simply flips off the referee. That doesn’t mean she isn’t in pain as she is wrestling around, trying to grab whatever she can around her. Dark finally grabs another fan made weapon. This time a barbed wire tennis racket. Dark swings wildly in El Diablo Blanco’s direction, trying everything to break the hold. She whacks the barbed wire lacing against El D’s head a few times, but the mask absorbs most of the shots. One final swing at El D’s head rips the barbed wire from the tennis racket as El D’s head goes straight through the tennis racket opening. El Diablo Blanco releases the iron claw from Kitty Dark as both competitors try to regain their composure. Dark is the first to strike as she grabs the handle of the tennis racket, still around El D’s neck, and whips him into the turnbuckle post. Dark follows up with a quick jumping sidekick to the dazed El D before searching for more weapons.
Jazmin Davis: Bring on the plunder!
Much to the fans’ excitement, Dark has gone under the ring and produced a kitchen sink. The fans truly have brought anything and everything to tonight’s event. Dark tosses the kitchen sink into the ring and quickly goes back for El Diablo Blanco. Removing the tennis racket from around his neck, Dark tosses El D into the ring and follows suit. Dark has a slight smile across her face as she looks over at the kitchen sink. She looks out at the crowd before grabbing the Backyard Phenom and body slamming him atop of the kitchen sink. El D winces in pain as he reaches for his lower back.
El D crawls towards the corner, looking for the ropes to pull himself up. El Diablo Blanco spots a fanny pack that’s sitting in the corner and opens it up. A smile comes to his face, but he doesn’t notice Dark coming in with a handspring body block sandwiching El D in the corner. Kitty Dark is relentless as she takes El D’s body and positions him in the corner once again, this time with his arms draped over the top rope to hold him up. Dark takes a step back and goes for another handspring body block. This time El D moves out of the way at the last second as Dark collides with the turnbuckles. El Diablo Blanco quickly grabs the contents of the fanny pack and squirts a liquid into Kitty Dark’s eyes. She immediately reaches up to wipe it away as she drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring. El D circles the ring as he holds up what he just squirted in Kitty Dark’s eyes. It’s Taco Bell Flamin’ Diablo Sauce. The 1WM crowd pops hard for the sauce even starting a Taco Bell chant.
Skylar Rayner: Oh my God. Anything does go in this match!
Kitty Dark has grabbed a towel from ringside, cleaning any remnants of the hot sauce from her eyes. On the other side of the ring, El Diablo Blanco has pulled a box out from under the ring. He returns inside and dumps the contents onto the mat. It’s the Legos that he said he would bring tonight. As El D looks out to the crowd for support, Kitty Dark returns to the ring and takes El Diablo Blanco down with a double leg takedown. She’s firing in shots at El D. Before long, the two are rolling around on the mat, exchanging blows and jockeying for position. Kitty Dark maintains majority control and looks for a cross-face chicken wing. El D fights it off and the two return to their feet. Dark uses her experience to get the advantage, going for the Bitch Kick to which El D ducks. El D kicks Dark in the midsection and is looking for a Stump Piledriver onto the Legos. He lifts Dark up, but Dark blocks the move by flailing her legs. El D forearms Dark in the back and once again goes for the Stump Piledriver. Dark blocks again and lifts El Diablo Blanco up over her head. With all her might, she drops El D with an Alabama Slam-esque maneuver right on the Legos.
Jazmin Davis: El Diablo brought the Legos but that backfired on him!
The crowd gasps as El D writhes in pain. Kitty Dark is not going to let the Backyard Phenom recover as she goes for his shoes. Dark unties El D’s shoelaces and removes not only his signature tennis shoes but also his socks. Leaving El D barefoot, Kitty Dark lifts him up to his feet. She points into his face and says something the microphones don’t quite pick up. In one giant movement, Kitty Dark lifts El D up off the mat and then drops him feet first onto the Legos still on the mat. El Diablo Blanco dances around trying to get out of the cluster of Legos but keeps stepping on the hard pieces multiple times much to the delight of the Multiuniversal Champion. Dark has seen enough and plants El D with the Ego Trip (Reverse Russian Leg Sweep) followed up by the first pinfall attempt of the match.

El Diablo Blanco gets a shoulder up just before the count of three. Kitty Dark has a frustrated look on her face as she wants to end this match already before things get even more out of hand. Dark once again leaves the ring and goes under another side of the ring. She pulls out a bundle of loose light tubes and sets them inside the ring. She also puts two chairs inside the ring before entering as well. With El D still trying to gain composure, Kitty Dark sets the two chairs up along with a majority of the light tubes lying in between them like a makeshift table.
Skylar Rayner: This looks ominous.
Kitty Dark grabs El D and pulls him into the corner where the contraption has been set up. She puts El D up on the second rope and follows up. Dark hits El D with several forearms before attempting a superplex. El D blocks the first attempt. Then a second. Dark releases the hold and hits El D a few more times with a forearm. The two shakily make their way up to the very top rope to attempt a superplex once more. El D fights back with a few kidney shots before grabbing hold of Kitty Dark, pushing her head between his legs. El D grabs Dark by her tights and hits the Stump Piledriver off the top rope through the light tubes set up on the chair. Glass debris flies everywhere as both champion and challenger appear out of it. El D has just enough strength to lay a single arm across Kitty Dark.

Jazmin Davis: We almost had a new champion!
Kitty Dark musters just enough strength to get a shoulder up to the surprise of everyone in the Show Place Arena. El Diablo Blanco is the first back to his feet as he makes his way across the broken glass and Legos still barefoot. He finds his shoes and quickly puts them back on before retreating out of the ring. Under another portion of the ring, El Diablo Blanco pulls out another of his signature weapons; a trampoline. Still feeling the punishment his body has taken in the ring so far, El D bounces on the trampoline stiffly. Finally feeling like he has enough height, El D springboards off the trampoline up and over the top rope looking for a springboard tornado DDT. Dark is already waiting for him, blasting him in the face with a leftover light tube. El D collapses with Dark making the cover.

El Diablo Blanco kicks out again.
Skylar Rayner: Blanco is in this. I think Kitty thought it was over there but the Backyard Phenom isn’t ready to call it quits just yet.
Kitty Dark has had enough. Dark sits El D up into a sitting position and begins ripping the shirt of El Diablo Blanco off, exposing the infamous Dad Bod that El D sports underneath. Kitty Dark runs the ropes and comes back with a stiff big boot right to the face of El Diablo Blanco. Kitty Dark grabs both of El D’s legs and drags him across the shattered glass from the light tubes. Pieces of glass rub against El D’s exposed back drawing more blood. Dark drops the legs and hits a standing double foot stomp onto the chest of El Diablo Blanco before going for the cover.

El D kicks out at the count of two.
Jazmin Davis: Kitty Dark has to be wondering what it’s going to take to put away the leader of the Diablo Nation. What does she have in mind now?
Kitty Dark exits the ring yet again and fumbles through many contraptions that the fans have brought. There’s a stop sign, but she tosses that to the side. There’s a staple gun but again tosses it to the side. Finally, Kitty pulls out a 2x4 that has gusset plates fused to the end. A sinister smile comes across her face as she gets back inside the ring. Stalking El Diablo Blanco as he slowly gets to his feet, Dark winds back with the weapon. She swings with all her might, but El D just barely ducks it, causing her to whiff her swing. El D resorts to a basic school boy roll up.

Thhhhhhrrrrre….
Kitty Dark whacks El Diablo Blanco in the face with the gusset plate 2x4 breaking up the pin. The spikes on the gusset have torn back a small piece of El D’s mask showing blood trickling down his face. He’s not down and out, though. Groggily, El D puts up his fists ready for a fight. Kitty Dark, with 2x4 in hand, looks down at the weapon and then back at El Diablo Blanco before tossing it off to the side. With blood dripping down his back, arm and face El D yells out to Kitty Dark.
El Diablo Blanco: Let’s go, Sister. Leave it all in the ring. Ain’t that what we said?
Kitty Dark gives El D a nod before the two rush towards each other with a tie up. The two are evenly matched as they both jockey for leverage over the other. Kitty Dark leads with an arm wringer that El Diablo Blanco reverses into a hammerlock. Kitty Dark counters into a hammerlock over her own before transitioning into a headlock.
Skylar Rayner: If weapons won’t solve the problem, go back to the basics. These two have hit each other with anything that isn’t tied down and now they are chain wrestling.
Jazmin Davis: I feel like we slipped into an alternate dimension.
Still in the headlock, El Diablo Blanco goes to the ropes and shoots Dark across the ring to the other side. Dark rebounds off the ropes to which El D leapfrogs over her. She connects with the ropes and runs back but El D drops to the mat causing Dark to high step him and bounce off the ropes yet again. On her return, El Diablo Blanco catches her with a spinebuster. Rather than go for the cover, El D pops up to his feet and walks around to her top half. The fans in attendance are stirred into a frenzy as they know what’s about to come. El Diablo Blanco looks out to the fans before running the ropes. He hops over Kitty Dark and rebounds from the other side. El D hits the Backyard Elbow to a thunderous round of applause from the fans.
Rather than go for a cover, however, El Diablo Blanco rolls out of the ring and begins looking for yet another weapon. His eyes light up when he spots the light tube cabin sitting off to the side. El D takes hold of the structure but can’t seem to move it on his own due to the size of it. El Diablo Blanco looks out to the crowd and spots a fan. El D has the fan hop over the guardrail and helps him bring the light tube structure closer to the ring. As they get it ringside, El D gives the fan a thumbs up and sends him back to his seat. As El Diablo Blanco turns around, Kitty Dark has come off the top rope with a moonsault taking him out.
Kitty is quick to get back to her feet and toss El D’s body back in the ring. Dark gets up on the ring apron and starts yelling for El D to get to his feet. The fans know what’s coming as Kitty Dark slices at her throat. Dark springboards to the top rope for the Immolation. As she rotates, though, El D meets her with a dropkick. The two collide in mid air and fall to the mat. Out of breath, El Diablo Blanco pulls himself up to his feet by the ropes. He sees Kitty Dark still laid out on the mat and ascends the turnbuckles. The crowd rises to their feet as they can feel their hero getting Froggy. On the top turnbuckle, El D looks out to the crowd and calls out to them to make some noise to which they oblige. El D is looking to come off the top with the splash, but he doesn’t see Kitty Dark is back up yet again. Dark reaches into her sports bra and pulls out a pair of pink brass knuckles. She has them on her hand and takes a swing right at El Diablo Blanco’s face. The venue falls silent as the only thing heard was a crack to the skull of El D. Disoriented, El Diablo Blanco tries to hold on to the top rope but can’t catch his bearings. He falls from the top rope to the outside right through the light tube cabin with a loud crash followed by a thud. A white powder fogs the entire area as the referee leaps from the ring to check on El Diablo Blanco.
Skylar Rayner: This has to be it.
Kitty Dark is yelling for the referee to just call the match, as she feels El D clearly cannot continue the match. The referee hops over to check on Diablo and waves her off. The match will continue.
Jazmin Davis: El Diablo Blanco is not finished!
A bit of humanity shows on Kitty Dark’s face as she hesitates to leave the ring and go after the Backyard Phenom. It doesn’t last long though as she looks across the ring to see the Multiuniversal Title sitting next to the commentary table. Realizing what this is all about, Kitty Dark leaves the ring and starts pulling excess broken light tubes out of the way to get to El Diablo Blanco. When she does, he’s almost completely out of it. Kitty just places a foot on top of El Diablo Blanco’s chest as the referee counts the fall.

THHHHHHRRRRRRRRE…..
Jazmin Davis: Are you kidding me?!
Skylar Rayner: I was sure it was over right there. How much more can these two take?
El Diablo Blanco kicks out or, rather, rolls to the side. He has not given up just yet. Kitty closes her eyes and lets out a deep exhale. She reaches down and grabs El Diablo Blanco by his mask hair and aggressively pulls him back to his feet. Still holding onto the mask, Kitty Dark is looking for the Kiss of Death. She blows a kiss to El D and rears back for an uppercut. El D steps back just far enough out of reach of the blow, causing Kitty to spin around. El D leaps into the air and hits Kitty Dark with a Poison Hurricanrana. Both competitors are lying on the floor outside of the ring trying to see muster the strength to pull themselves up to finish the match.
The fans begin to stomp their feet, trying to motivate these two competitors to get up and fight. The chanting encourages the two as they begin to stir outside of the ring. Kitty crawls towards the ring and uses the apron to pull herself to her feet while Diablo crawls towards the guard railing, using it to pull himself to his feet. Slowly, the two competitors turn towards each other. Diablo charges at Kitty, who steps to the side and Diablo crashes face first into the post. Kitty is on the other side of the ring post and she grabs Diablo’s wrist and pulls him, once, twice, three times right into the post. Diablo falls back onto the floor. Kitty reaches up and pulls herself onto the ring apron and then climbs up to the top turnbuckle. She steadies herself as she watches Diablo get to his feet. As he turns towards her, she leaps off and drops on him with a meteora from the top turnbuckle, driving him down to the ringside floor.
Jazmin Davis: W.A.M.H! From the turnbuckle to the floor!
Skylar Rayner: But I think Kitty hurt herself just as much with that move!
She clutches at her knees as she rolls to the side and then slowly crawls over and drapes an arm across El Diablo Blanco’s chest.
The referee drops down.

THHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEE!
The bell rings.
Torres: The winner of the match…AND STILL the Splat Multiuniversal Champion, Kitty! Dark!
Skylar Rayner: That makes it official! It was a hell of a match and both of these competitors left it all in the ring, but Kitty Dark successfully defended the Multiuniversal Championship and will face Mary Ellen Harrison for the third and final time at Red Blood Cell in a Prison Break match.
Jazmin Davis: With this match, she has a month to heal before stepping inside the monstrosity of Prison Break, but El Diablo Blanco came this close several times to defeating her for the title. Certainly, it won’t be his last opportunity after his performance tonight.
Skylar Rayner: We want to thank One Wrestle Movement for hosting this amazing match and we will certainly be back here again! However, we will see you next month at Red Blood Cell. It’s Dark vs. Harrison and the finals of the GeminiOne. Don’t go anywhere! Your Glory Championship match is next!

Once they're loud enough, she focuses her attention on the Champ. The two wrestlers finally grapple up with one another. There is a brief struggle for the advantage. Jay overpowers Nicole and backs her up against the ropes. He holds her there for a moment before hitting her with a huge chop to the chest that echoes throughout the arena.
Crowd: WOOO!
Jay follows it up with a second.

Catriona: Nicole Smoak was able to get things started quickly and this could bode well for her throughout this match...
Astrid: I just think that Jay is on fire right now and there's nothing that ANYONE can do to change that. Besides it’s….Nicole….Smoak…
Nicole grabs hold of Jay and begins to pull him back up to his feet---hitting Jay with a few quick strikes in the process. Nicole struggles to regain her footing as Jay hurries toward her and hits her with a few right hands. He then spins Nicole around and lifts her into the air, delivering a belly to back snap suplex! The fans are on their feet booing once again, Mean Machine taking a moment to rile them up. He then grabs hold of Nicole and pulls her up to her feet. Jay drives Nicole back against the nearest turnbuckle. He throws his shoulder into her ribs and then hoists her up to the top rope.
Catriona: This is...a bit more focused than what we've normally seen from Jay...
Astrid: Yeah, well...there's his Glory championship on the line! He knows what he's doing! Besides it’s….Nicole….Smoak…
Mean Machine tries to climb up to the top rope to meet Nicole, but the challenger responds by shoving Jay away. Jay lands on the mat and stumbles. He regains his footing and tries to hurry toward Nicole, only to get met with a kick to the jaw! Jay staggers back again, the fans giving a positive response as Nicole pulls herself back up to her feet. She pauses for a moment before leaping off the top rope and hitting Jay with a crossbody---hooking the leg for a cover.

THREE!!!
Torres: The winner of this match...AND STILL the Glory Champion...Jay Aguero!!!
Astrid: I would say I’m surprised by the outcome… but it’s… Nicole… Smoak.
Catriona: She still put up a very valiant effort despite her history.
Astrid: Guess she’s willing to do anything now that she and Taren have a kid.
The referee hands Jay the title belt as he holds it high in the air for all to see. He turns to Nicole attempting to get to her feet. Before she can, Jay drops down and then slaps on an anaconda cross!
Astrid: Oh jeez. What the hell Roid Ken? You’ve already won the match, let the shit go.
Catriona: I never really understood why winners do this.
Nicole screams in pain, tears forming in her eyes. Jay pulls even harder, almost bouncing Nicole off the mat. Nicole can’t take it anymore, the tears running down her face from the pain. Suddenly, the lights dim to the part of near-darkness. A fog fills the arena, which along with the darkness, keeps the fans from seeing anything that's going on in the ring. Nonetheless, there is an excited buzz in the arena.
Catriona: I have no idea what's going on right now, but I almost get the feeling that this isn't Jay's doing.
Astrid: These fans sound like they're excited about something. I just wish I knew what...
The crowd grows louder and louder, suggesting that a few fans have figured out what's going on. The fog slowly begins to dissipate. Seconds later, the lights come back on, and the arena roars in approval.
Catriona: Asti, is that...
Astrid: Oh god no…
Catriona: PATTI ROSE IS BACK!
Sure enough, running down to the ring is none other than the Bullet with a Mullet herself. The crowd is deafening in their support of Patti. Jay releases Nicole and turns his attention to the returning Year One alum. Jay stares at Patti calmly. Jay goes to say something to Patti, when suddenly, Patti steps forward and hits Jay in the mouth with a hard right hand. She follows it up with a second and then a third!
Jay desperately tries to fight back, but Patti is relentless! She successfully knocks Jay back against the ropes and then charges forward, sending him down to the floor with a clothesline! The fans continue to cheer as Jay smashes hard into the thinly matted floor. Enraged, he begins to pull himself back up to his feet. In the ring, Patti stands back and beckons that Jay continues the fight. The crowd serenades the returning veteran.
Crowd: WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK!
The two wrestlers stare each other down while the chants continue.
Catriona: This...wow...
Astrid: And here I was wondering whether a Nicole…Smoak…match would be able to steal the show!
Catriona: Well that’s everything we’ve got for you tonight people. Tune in next time for the 20th edition of One Wrestle Movement’s Glory!
Astrid: Hopefully it will be in PA. It’s better than Maryland.
