WRESTLING INFORMATION
Wrestling Style
Jack Gibson is a physical wrestler, using his youthfulness, speed, and agility to combine not only the brawling he learned in his young days in Las Vegas but the technical skills he learned in the Emerald City Squires school. He also has slowly adopted these styles with some of his favorite styles in the industry, lucha libre.
Alignment
Most would call him a heel, but if you ask Jack he would tell you he is a good guy, it just takes a while to get used to his personality. Very harsh and brash, but in all reality he is just a cocky prick that needs a stiff slap to the nose.
Gimmick
Born and raised in the tourist ran city of Las Vegas NV, he learned at a young age that in order to find success in this world you needed to always be working. Always trying to improve your position without getting physical. To do whatever it takes to get to that next level, nothing is out of bounds. As the leader of the group Kill or be Killed, Jack tends to lean on his two associates to assist him. Whether that be pre match attacks, referee destruction, or even the occasionally jumping in front of the bullet for the young man. Simply put he's a cocky, arrogant, asshole that thinks he is better than everyone around him, and will take every advantage possible to find success.
Favorite Match Type
Jack is a huge fan of traditional one on one fights, well at least his opponent will think so, what are we kidding Jack will one hundred and ten percent use numbers to gain an advantage, and as long as his opponent is at a disadvantage Jack loves that match.
Favorite Weapon of Choice
Do the other members of KOBK count as weapons? If not then put a pair of brass knuckles in his pants for use when the referee is not looking and you will be right on the nose.
Strengths/Weaknesses
If you asked Jack in person what his strengths are he would probably give you some smart ass reply about how every time in the ring he is perfect, that he has no weaknesses. But below are his three biggest strengths.
1.) Speed - Jack is one fast SOB, mix this with his striking game and you will have some trouble.
2.) Agility - Paired with his speed, and you have some dangerous skills. Most of his agility is used to keep his balance while stringing together chains of strikes and grapples to gain an advantage
3.) Resilience - Just when you think you're done with his annoying ass he comes back for more.
And below are his three biggest weaknesses that “don’t exist”.
1.) Inexperience - This one's self explanatory, hes a 23 year old kid with barely 6 years of his training.
2.) Size - At 5’11” and 185lbs hes not the largest man on the roster, this is not to say he is not strong, but when it comes to larger competitors he can be overpowered.
3.) Confidence - While this may help him get the opportunities he has in his life, but when it comes to the ring, his confidence can lead to him taking big chances and even making him cocky which leads to more mistakes and issues the more confident he becomes.
Finisher(s)
1.) Royal Flush - Dragon Screw Neck Whip
2.) Death by Dishonor - Rings of Saturn
Signature(s)
1.) Sin City Slam - Elevated double chicken wing, wheelbarrow facebuster
2.) Jack’s Wild - Running Double Knee Strike in the corner.
3.) Cash Out- Ripcord Discus Elbow
Regular Moves
Bio
Jack was born and raised in Las Vegas NV, the only child of Mary and Todd Gibson. His parents both were full time employees from the same security firm that most of the major casinos on the strip used. This led to long nights and little time to spend with their son. But the time they did spend was littered with gifts and vacations that lead to little Jack being a little more than spoiled.
As he grew up he began learning from the things his parents would talk about, about how some guy was caught counting cards, and how it should be done to get away with it. Obviously they never meant to actually do it, but at 15 years old Jack began to learn how to do it without his parents coming to the realization.
By the time he was 21 and old enough in the casinos he knew how to count cards with the best of them, and how that in order to survive he had to lose a few hands ever now and again to make it seem like he is just on a hot streak and not actually counting, this did two things for him. It paid for his college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and paid for his training in the wrestling industry.
He never truly wanted to go to college, he thought it was a waste of time. That with his natural athleticism and fighting history that he would be an obvious choice as the next big thing. But his parents told him that he would have to go to college first then he could do whatever he wanted, so that's what he did. Got a degree in communications and started his first day of wrestling school 2 days after graduation in 2019.
After six months training in Vegas he was told it was time he started stepping in the ring, he began to run in a couple of local promotions, in Nevada, slowly branching out to New Mexico, California and finally up to Washington State. It was there he caught the eye of Emerald City Squires, they invited him to come train there and the floodgates instantly opened.
A few companies had reached out to him to work on some projects, one bing eternal Lucha which folded before its first show, after that failed attempt to enter the Mexican wrestling market, Jack was able to get an opportunity with NVR Wrestling and the One Wrestling Movement, after reading through the contracts he signed on the dotted line. He was here to make a name for himself, he was the next big thing, and he was going to do anything to make it to the pinnacle of this business.
