WRESTLING INFORMATION
Wrestling Style
Striker/Powerhouse
Alignment
Tweener
Gimmick
Coming back from a tour of Japan, Graham Baker has had the most successful year of his career thus far. From the three belts he's won in Action to the other accolades he's collected over the last few months elsewhere, Baker is dripping in gold, but the Man Made God wants to drive himself harder, taking on some of the most accomplished in the industry. His time with Corey Black has only served to hone his skill to a finer point, creating a violent and volatile competitor who can't be quite easily shut down.
Other Info
A fan of wrestling contests and hardcore matches, Baker favors anything he can get his hands on. His talents lie in submissions and use of the environment around him. His weaknesses are his brashness and desire to win at any cost, often causing him injury.
Finisher(s)
Clean The Blade - Pumping Bomber Lariat
Ground Zero - Double Underhook Tiger Bomb
Ultra Finisher: 1789 - Bastard Driver/Cradle Lift Tombstone. Broken out on rare occasions.
Signature(s)
Goodnight, Osaka! - Powerbomb rolled through and lifted into a Piledriver.
Sacred Slayer - Single Leg High Knee, sometimes with the kneepad pulled down.
Skullfuck! - Backslide Driver, broken and pulled into a double wristlock bicycle knee.
Chopping Block - Wrist Clutch Exploder into the corner.
The Big One - Butterfly Suplex, floated over and popped up into a Belly-to-Back Inverted Facebuster (Styles Clash)
Regular Moves
1. Suplexes. Baker likes dropping people on their necks-pretty easy to understand. He favors the Dragon, German, Snap, and Exploder suplexes the most, but he's not afraid to bust out some crazy shit like a Regal-plex or Sidewinder when the opportunity calls for it. Most, if not all of these, can be done elevated or bridged.
2. Kicks - Baker utilizes his legs and speed to do major damage to an opponent, especially when combined with his lariats and other arm-based offense. Roundhouse, hook, switchblade, back-heel, superkicks, and dropkicks fill out his arsenal, with other variations coming to use as they're applicable. Baker often combines kicks to set opponents up for his devastating Clean The Blade lariat.
3. Knee Strikes - Much like his legs, Baker's knees also provide some crippling offense. Whether drilling an opponent with a bicycle or single leg knee strike, or driving his knee into an opponent's skull repeatedly, Baker likes to keep variety with how he manhandles the people he finds himself in the ring with. His knee strikes are the crux of his snap-offense, and often his go-to counters when nothing else seems to be working.
4. Arm-based offense - Elbows, forearms, lariats, punches, chops, slaps, the whole nine and then some. Baker's got some tree-trunk ass arms and he's not afraid to use them to welt the shit out of any opponent unfortunate enough to come across him in the Squared Circle. Most often, he'll use combinations of chops, slaps, and strikes to soften an opponent up for one of his killing blows.
5. Down With The Stiffness - If an opponent finds themselves too close for comfort, or Baker finds himself in an uncomfortable situation, he'll often respond with barrages of stiff strikes such as headbutts, forearms, punches, slaps, and kicks. These barrages are usually combinations of his other offense, but to greater effect. Often, he'll end a sequence with a headbutt or a particularly gunshot-like chop to take an opponent down for good.
6. Bombs Away - Baker's a fan of the powerbomb, and will utilize multiple variants of the move to put his opponents away, especially with opponents his size or smaller. Variants such as standard sit-out powerbombs, sheer drop powerbombs, Last Ride/Elevated powerbombs, or powerbombs onto the knee are most common, as well as powerbombs to counter moves like headscissor takedowns or other 'rana-styled moves.
7. Real Powerhouse Shit - Graham Baker's size and strength allow him to manhandle opponents of most sizes, and as such he's commonly known to use maneuvers to slam and drive his opponents into the roughest parts of the ring so as to cause major damage to them. Common tactics include Death Valley Drivers, Fireman's Carry Slams, Powerslams, and others.
8. Head-Droppy Stuff - And, if all else fails, Baker knows like most competitors that dropping someone on their fucking head will do the trick. Brainbusters and piledrivers are common facets of the Aviator's arsenal, with certain variants finding themselves higher on the list than common maneuvers.
9. From On High - While no longer a frequenter of the top rope, Baker knows how to counter those who do go high, and will often use that to his advantage to deliver devastating Avalanche variations of his common maneuvers.
10. When All Else Fails - Baker's not opposed to desperation tactics, so if an opponent is proving especially difficult to put down, or Baker feels that victory is slipping away, he'll utilize a low blow and a roll-up to put an opponent away for good.
