In ring: She's an employee of Aurora's personal empire, Aurora Corp., brought in so that she can serve as an assistant and secretary to Aurora herself while she is in 1WM
Outside of the ring: Katherine, however, isn't really JUST any employee, she's second in command on the entire company, but more so than that, she's been Aurora's friend since both of them were five years old, and she is Aurora's most trusted person in the entire world, their relationship is stronger than siblings, Aurora should know.
Not that they'll admit it to the screen... at least for now.
