Entrance
The main arena lights go down, replaced by flashing lights and spotlights moving across the ramp. Raze appears at the entranceway and takes a few steps out of the curtain, eyes covered by sunglasses. The fans get up with an explosive pop.
He stops a moment, surveying everything in front of him as the vocals to his music come in.
He strides down the ramp with the casual confidence only a veteran could possess, checking wraps on his hands without looking as he gets to the ringside area and hops up onto the ring apron.
"Feeling alright in the noise and the light, but that's what lights my fire"
He gets into the ring and climbs to the second turnbuckle of the corner at the ring steps, throwing his fists high overhead.
"HELLRAISER, in the thunder and heat"
The main lights come back up, letting the crowd see him as he walks to the opposite corner to do the same thing, working his way to all four corners. When he's done, he removes the sunglasses and his t-shirt, letting everyone see the countless scars all over his torso, especially his back, relics of his past, etched into his flesh. With a crick-crack of the neck and roll of a shoulder, he's ready to go.

WRESTLING INFORMATION
Wrestling Style
Blend of brawling, technical, and hardcore.
Alignment
Tweener
Gimmick
A reformed chaotic, hyperviolent psycho. Technically an antihero. Nowadays, he's trying to distance himself from his old ways.
Other Info
Ring Gear
Black boots with red band at top.
Black trousers with stylised name down right leg with knee pads worn underneath.
Black wraps from knuckles to forearm on both hands.
Black t-shirt featuring a non-human skull, wearing a gold crown. Underneath says Devil King.
Cycle through stuff for t-shirts, band stuff works too. Grunge, punk, classic metal and thrash metal. Prodigy too.
fave weapon: Despair. A unique weapon he became known for. This will be updated with details, but as of time of post, it's too early to put here.
Match types: These days, any that test his skill and limits. But his old love of the extreme lies dormant in him.
Like/dislike: Ask him.
Strengths
Experienced: Raze rose to the top after years of absolute mayhem. He's gone up against opponents of all possible styles and beat most of them. He knows his way around the ring very well.
Innovative: Raze isn't afraid to try experimental, unpredictable moves to catch his opponents off guard or use unusual methods to counter if he's on defence.
Strong: Although not a monster power guy by any means, he is strong enough that power guys need something else in the bag as he's stronger than he looks. He's surprised monsters before.
Tough: Of all the things he has done, of all his accomplishments, everything pales in comparison to his jaw-dropping, legendary tolerance for pain. That stubborn refusal to die made him one of the most dangerous men going and cemented his status among legends, even if he felt the effects long after. He plays hero (fight out or pass out) when caught in submissions. It's both a strength and weakness because, while it does sometimes help him escape, it can also fail.
Adaptable: While he has his comfort zone, he has shown over the years that he can adapt to his opponents, like an all-rounder. He has gone blow for blow with monsters, kept cruiserweights on their toes, wrestled with mat technicians, and plumbed the depths of masochism with deathmatch specialists. He is smarter than he lets on and has rarely ever been beaten the same way twice, especially by the same opponent..
Killer Instinct: If put into a match where anything goes, his opponent will come out a changed person. He has shown a streak of sadism that would make Satan blanche. His signature weapon, Despair, has done a lot of damage and his weapon offence is the very essence of brutality. He will give no quarter, but he won't ask for any.
Weaknesses
Stocky: While he is fast enough to chase them down, he's not a cruiserweight. He can't fly through the air with that kind of speed or the acrobatics associated with them. They can use the speed advantage over him. He isn't as fast as when he was 230lbs.
Proud: He will not back down from anyone or anything when he's provoked, even when he should. He will stand and fight alone against a group, rather than fall back and fight another day. Even with toughness like his, he can't beat an entire group in a brawl on his own. The times he did was with the element of surprise, an equaliser, or both. When in submissions, he's known for heroics (staying in them to fight out). Sometimes he succeeds, other times, he doesn't.
Unstable: When he gets angry, he digs deeper, like anyone else, but when enraged, he is an irrational madman with a bloodlust. While this can make him fearsome at first, someone with a cool head can cause him to make a fatal slip-up. This could result in a pinning predicament, count out, DQ, suspension, fine, getting jumped, etc. His fury is a double-edged sword and it has gone against him many times in the past.
Bucks authority: This isn't a match weakness, but potentially a roleplay weakness. He has a history of butting heads with authority figures (literally, in one case), which can lead him into a hell of a lot of trouble. Authority figures in wrestling tend to be rather petty, after all.
No allies: Raze is in unfamiliar territory after 7 years away from wrestling. The one wrestler he knows here probably still doesn't like him. At all. And the one non-wrestler he knows doesn't either. He is completely alone and doesn't ask for help from people he doesn't know. He barely asks for help from friends.
Age: While he's still got fight in him, at 42, time isn't exactly on his side. His last match will come much sooner than for a younger wrestler.

BANNED MOVES
These are not necessarily banned by the rules, but what I call moves he doesn't use in the ring. There's a good reason for this. He has a way of fighting in wrestling matches, regardless of match type. That's his in-ring style. His way of fighting away from the ring is very different; there is no showmanship. It's quick, hits hard and is designed to incapacitate or injure. Only use a couple of a storyline calls for an injury angle or if someone wants time away to repackage. Do NOT use outside of those ideas.
Push/thrust kick dead-on at knee level or just above. This causes hyperextension of the knee and can cause muscle injuries, such as torn tendons or ligaments.
Hard strikes intended for the collarbone.
Anything designed to break the fingers.
Liver punch as it can incapacitate the opponent. Watch body KO in boxing videos to see why it's here.
Spinning hook kick to the head or jaw at full speed. Good chance you're breaking the jaw.
Other self defence techniques centred on causing injury that needs a hospital visit are in his wheelhouse due to his PMC training, where you have to win as quickly and efficiently as possible so you don't get stabbed or shot. Breaking fingers, wrists, attacks that could rupture an eye.
His martial art was there to save his life, not put on a show, hence he uses little of it.
Bio
To keep things brief, this man has been through Hell and back. His rough life started early. He drifted after losing his parents as a young boy and witnessed things he still doesn't talk about as a young member of a licensed private contractor group, leading him to self destructive thrill seeking behaviour.
This led him to become a wrestler, cutting his teeth on small indy scenes before joining the now defunct GZW2K1. There, he made a name for himself by carving a bloody path of brutality that pushed him to his limits. Those years made him a household name worldwide until his retirement.
After letting his body heal and putting old ghosts to rest, he began patching up the holes in his life, learning to take things in stride and live some semblance of a peaceful life.
And then, one day, he gets a phone call...

Accomplishments, Highlights, & Misc
This is a list of crazy shit he's pulled in his career, for better or worse in GZW2K1, and there's probably more I don't remember. These happened from 12 to 16 years ago.
2x Hardcore Triple Crown ("King of Thorns") champion.
2x GZW2K1 World Heavyweight champion.
Accidentally blew up a petrol/gas station in Tokyo during a hardcore title defence. (Not written by me. RIP, Billy)
His team won the first ever war games match.
During a 2-part scaffold match, countered a move into his stunner finisher in mid air as they crashed through a pile of tables. (Not written by me)
When he was still 230lbs, managed to powerbomb an opponent 320+ lbs and another who was closer to 350. Once.
'Bathed' a World championship in the blood of people he attacked when he went too the deep end.
Ambushed 3 and 4-person stables by himself.
Was once thrown off of a 30' drop onto unfolded chairs in the crowd during an I quit match to keep him down. It worked. (Not written by me either)
Pulled off a shooting star press from the roof of a crimson chamber to his opponent on the commentary table. This was to regain one of his hardcore titles and become 2x triple crown holder. (Another writer)
Once wrapped barbed wire round an opponent's neck in a hardcore title defence and stomped on his throat, forcing the official to throw the match out. (Another writer. They were all nuts and I loved them for it)
Once, in a effort to shake up the roster, who he felt had grown complacent, secretly put together a team of outsiders to stage an invasion. This backfired tremendously and forced him to pitch in against the team and almost ended the company. He got nuclear heat for that stunt!
Once created a championship for a developmental company to give the next generation something tangible to compete for, as well as give them experience in fighting for and holding a title.
