As the scene opens up inside a radio station we can see Brianna Matthew walking through it as she was directed towards the area she needed to be at. Wearing her multicolored boots, black leggings, a gray spaghetti strap tank top under her black and gray distressed sweater from Hot Topic, and her hair straightened that afternoon, she walked through the door they had opened for her. She walked over to the table and sat down where she was handed a bottle of water. Looking over to the DJ on the mic Brianna waved and he winked at her.
DJ: Alright guys welcome back to the show. You know, a few days ago I was trying to find something fun to do for you guys to show my love and appreciation for your support so I thought what better way to do it than to give you all something in return to show my love and appreciation to all of my faithful listeners out there. So when I thought about the things I could do for you, nothing seemed good enough so I did the next best thing. I called up my good friend not to mention my next-door neighbor Brianna Matthews and well ladies and gentlemen she’s sitting right here across from me today. And trust me guys, she is just as beautiful in person as she is on ISM Global and shows. Bri! How the hell are you this afternoon?
Bri: Hey Frost! I’m good. Thanks for having me on the show today.
Frost: Absolutely girl. You know you’re always welcome on my shows. Now Bri, for those who listen to the show but don’t know you, you are a professional wrestler. You started your career in that business when you were sixteen but didn’t sign a contract until you were eighteen?
Bri: Yeah, see this is the thing that everyone thinks they understand but I was involved in the business with my stepdad's company back in Missouri. It’s a small independent company he started and both myself and my stepbrother worked there. I was thirteen and he was fifteen. Two years older than me but we worked in the company behind the scenes helping. But when I was sixteen I got started as a valet there for Jackson and I got told I wasn’t allowed to work anymore shows the night I interfered in one of Jackson’s matches and did a spinning heel kick to the other guy’s valet.
Frost: Oh god, what did Victor do?
Bri: He was not happy.
Frost: I bet. He seems like the type of guy that would be mad for something like that. Wait, did he know you had been training there after school?
Bri: No, He had no idea until I did the kick. I mean I wasn’t eighteen yet so I wasn’t supposed to be doing moves or anything right? I was just a valet.
Frost: But he’s ok with you being in this business now?
Bri: Yeah. When I go back home I work shows for him.
Frost: When were you back home last?
Bri: I was just back home last week for a few days and worked a show.
Frost: Now is he the one that you went to for training when you took your five-year hiatus?
Bri: No. I went back home for five years to get better at what I do. So I went to Harley’s school and did what I needed to. Then when Justice was coming back she said she wanted to get the band back together so I came back with her. The Vixens also did a stint as The Poison Dolls.
Frost: You guys brought The Poison Dolls back?
Bri: For just a short time. We left the company that let us bring them back. We couldn’t have full creativity for them so we walked right out of the meeting about it and never went back. Also after whatever took place and we left 1WM for a bit I went to Joe and I worked out new contracts for us so we could return.
Frost: Is that where your tag team title match comes into play?
Bri: Yeah. It was in our contract that we got one match to see if we could win the tag titles. So we had our match and then we won of course. Then a few shows later we lost them.
Frost: Can we talk about Justice for a second?
Bri: Oh are we going to talk about that?
Frost: Hey you told me I could talk to you about anything.
Bri: Alright.
Frost: So my thing with Justice is you both get the tag titles, you lose them, eventually she gets a title shot at the Glory title and wins. A year later they ran her out of the company. I just want to know your thoughts on this.
Bri: What?
Frost: I want to know what you think about that. From an off-record point of view because this isn’t an interview it is more like you are just coming in and chilling out with me and the fans.
Bri: Well, ok so this is just off the record. She kept the company alive when it would have died. People can say what they want or fight me about that but I will say that every time someone questions me about how I feel off record. No one else wanted to do their job but the minute they ran her out people started showing up to do their job. They didn’t want her here is pretty much what that deal is. And it isn’t my deal to talk about so you got my off-record thought about it.
Frost: Oh I know something you will want to talk about.
Bri: Yeah? -laughs- What’s that?
Frost: Things that have been going on in your life.
Bri: Like?
Frost: Like what’s up with Ally?
Bri: Ally as in Ally Kekoa?
Frost: Yeah.
Bri: I’ve got some things to say to her but I will do it at the show.
Frost: Right right right. That’s your whole being seen to be heard thing.
Bri: Well yeah. I mean she did something publicly so now she’s going to hear me publicly. I don’t care if she is the 1WM doctor.
Frost: What about that guy who trains her?
Bri: Jericho?
Frost: Yeah.
Bri: What about him?
Frost: Are you mad he is training her?
Bri: I mean if she wants him to train her that's fine.
Frost: Doesn’t that make you mad though? She comes to you for help so you go to Aleki to see if it would be ok with him if you trained her?
Bri: No and I’ll tell you why it doesn’t make me mad. It doesn’t make me mad because Ally is an adult and can deal with things on her own. But like I asked her the other day, why is she even training if she isn’t going to get in the ring? I mean seriously. I’d like to see her put on a set of boots and lace them up because I guarantee you she would find out whose house this was real fast. Let’s just say it would be a case of Ally fed around and found out!
Frost: Good point. I just think it’s a shame that the guy who is training her has to go back and forth every day between Seattle and Long Beach. Oh you know what, you should make it worth his while.
Bri: FROST!
Frost: No, not like that. I just meant to offer him one of your spare rooms and at least cook the man a warm meal. He paid for you to get food up there and he took you to a mosh pit. Girl you need to go find that man. Have him take you to another mosh pit.
Bri: Oh my god what is happening right now?
Laughing, she took a sip of the water.
Frost: I’m just totally messing with you by the way.
Bri: Alright look, you want me to dm him? I’ll DM him right now.
Taking her phone out of her pocket she would go through her X account until she found his name. She would send him a DM then put her phone back in her pocket looking back across to Frost.
Frost: She did guys. She just sent him a DM. Come on Bri you know I am only messing with you. You are my neighbor and my friend. I wouldn’t put you into any situation you don’t want to be in. Plus I am also Jackson’s best friend and I know he would kick my ass for doing that to you. By the way, what did you send him?
Bri: That’s for him to know.
They both laugh a bit then get serious again.
Frost: You guys, this girl right here makes me forget that I am supposed to be working. To my boss, it’s ok I am going to wrap it up so we don’t forget I am working. Let’s do a little self-plugging right now. You work for what company?
Bri: One Wrestle Movement.
Frost: You have a show coming up when?
Bri: March 31st so one week away from today. Get your tickets if you want to hear my response to Ally.
Frost: And the show’s name?
Bri: Legendary.
Frost: And you are?
Bri: Brianna Matthews.
Frost: And this has been?
Bri: The Frost Show with Dylan Frost. Co-hosted by me.
Frost: I’ll be there next Sunday and she’s got some tickets to give away right now. So if you know where the station is the first person who meets her down in the lobby gets front-row tickets as well as backstage passes. This is Dylan Frost and this has been The Frost Show.
After he says that music begins to play and he takes his headphones off. They walk out of the room together laughing and talking. He walks her out to her car and then waves as he gets in his car. Sitting there for a few moments she takes a breath then starts the car up and drives off towards home.
